Children's Ministry Team Meetings

Future Meetings:
Wednesday, June 18 from 7:00-9:00 - Focus: WOW Activities
Wednesday, June 25 from 7:00-9:00 - Focus: Kid's Club Sunday Programming

Our first focus will be on WOW activities then we will move to Kid's Club Sunday Programming. We will be selecting or changing the curriculums to use for the first few months of the ministry year. We can then be focused and ready for the necessary planning when Rev. Foss comes, as even more exciting changes will head our way! If you share a passion for encouraging children to grow in faith through our Wednesday night and/or Sunday morning programming, please join us one or both of these nights. All are welcome and please contact Cynnamon Brown with any questions.

Family Movie Night - Friday, July 11

Our second family movie night will feature Facing the Giants. (Rated PG, Dove Family Approved for all ages, 112 minutes long) This is a free, family friendly event. Popcorn and water will be provided. Please bring a blanket to sit on, your family and friends and some canned food donations for the food pantry. Nursery is provided for those under 3. Pre-registration at cynnamon@stmarkwdm.org is required only for those needing nursery to make sure we have the right amount of nursery attendants.

Movie Synopsis:
From the award winning producers of "Flywheel" comes an action-packed drama about a Christian high school football coach who uses his undying faith to battle the giants of fear and failure. In six years of coaching, Grant Taylor has never led his Shiloh Eagles to a winning season. After learning that he and his wife Brooke face infertility, Grant discovers that a group of fathers are secretly organizing to have him dismissed as head coach.
