Junior High School Student Ministry at St. Mark
The mission of St. Mark’s Student Ministry:
To equip our church family to become fully developing
followers of Christ by growing in faith and serving others.
Confirmation
Begin the evening by joining your family for dinner starting at 5:00pm in
the St. Mark Fellowship Hall. Then from 6:00-7:30pm, on Wednesday evenings
during the school year, 7-9th graders are invited to join us for confirmation.
Evenings consist of large group games, learning, and small group fellowship.
This is a terrific opportunity to learn more about your faith with your friends.
9th graders are confirmed in the fall each year on All-Saints Sunday.
Monthly Fellowship Opportunities
Each month, the 7-8th graders are invited to a monthly outing. Everything from movie nights to camping trips! The fun and adventure never seems to end!
Sunday Morning Bible Study
Each Sunday morning our junior high students meet for fellowship and learning. We hope that this time supplements the confirmation program on Wednesday nights and provides an additional tie to our church family for each adolescent youth. Curriculum is chosen based on the relevance of each topic for our students lives and on its ability to aid in the development of each individual’s personal walk with Christ.
