Kids PreK to 5th grade are invited to be part of St. Mark Kids Ministries. St. Mark Kids is a fun opportunity for kids to grow in their faith through bible stories, hands on activities and community.

Kids attend either Wednesday nights from 6:45—7:45pm or Sunday mornings from 10:00—11:00am. On Sunday, Kindergarten through 5th grade will meet in the Discipleship Center and Preschool will meet in the Worship Center. On Wednesday, Preschool – 5th grade will meet in the Discipleship Center.  The Sunday and Wednesday sessions run from September-May.

Vacation Bible School (Summer)

Summertime VBS is all about living life to the fullest, and following Jesus is the best way we know how!   We had a great time last year and are looking forward to summer 2020.

Children’s Choir and Children’s Musical

Directed by Brianne Schildberg, the children’s choir practices on Wednesday evenings during St. Mark Kids at 6:00 – 6:40pm. In addition, all children are invited to be a part of Spring Musical. Each year the students meet during the winter and spring during WoW to prepare for the musical. The musical is presented in May during weekend worship.

Tiny Tots Music

The Tiny Tot program originated in 2004 as a free outreach opportunity for St. Mark Lutheran Church. Classes are for children ages 0 – 5 years old and a parent/care-giver must accompany the child to classes. Please contact Deb Paul by email or at 515-991-6823 to sign up. Classes are 30 minutes in length with a 15 minute sharing/snack time at the end of every class.

The Tiny Tots sessions are offered on Fridays at 9:00, 9:45, 10:30 and 11:15am September through May. Please contact Deb Paul to discuss enrollment.

Tiny Tots is led by Deb Paul, who has been a music educator since 1997. She graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Music degree. She received her Kindermusik training in Chicago in 1996.
